Krung Thai Restaurant: A Taste of Authentic Thai Cuisine in Albuquerque

This is the best Thai food in Albuquerque which we frequently get take out from. The Pad Thai and Pad See Ew are excellent here. Both dishes are always fresh, tasty, and spiced to your preference. I feel like the owners and staff are very vested in you having a great experience when you choose to eat from their restaurant. Because of this I would 100% recommend trying them out to find your favorite dish.

So one of the ladies there does not take orders correctly. Every time we come she gets our order wrong. Never fails. I don’t mind giving tips but this time I was pretty fed up because as always she got our order wrong. Do not get me wrong they are really nice there but she has got to get it together. And on the side note there was a hair in one of our plates and one of the other ladies had the audacity to ask me why we didn’t tip really?!? Do you ask every customer that? That’s an embarrassment to you and your business. And an embarrassment to the customer also. We come expecting to get good service and that my dear is not good service. I’m sorry. I’m a good tipper but this time it went too far.

I tried hot mango sticky rice for the first time and now I have to make my own since it was so good! Our shrimp fried rice was delicious as well as our beef low man. I recommend you order low mean if you want soft noodles. The chow me in noodles are crunchy. The food is served in a to go box so that you don’t have to ask for it since you won’t be able to finish it all in one setting; brilliant. If you want to be seen, sit in the center. There’s plenty of private tables as well. I will probably only choose this restaurant for Thai food moving forward

We have been getting take out here about once a month for many years. The staff & food is wonderful. Our favorite dish is the coconut soup. We have tried it at many restaurants throughout the city & Krung Thai is by far the best. It has an awesome addicting exquisite taste. They tell me it is a long time family recipe. The pad Thai is also another favorite and is delicious. There are lots of dishes we plan to eventually try them all. If you have never tried this place before it is well worth the drive regardless of what part of the city you live in. An absolute gem in Albuquerque. Happy eating!

I cannot believe it took me so long to try this place bcz it was SO good!! We had coconut soup with shrimp & two different curries-one with beef and one with chicken. I honestly have never had better Thai food. The dishes were satisfyingly flavorful, the ingredients were high-quality, service was attentive and the Thai iced teas were sweet, tangy and basically dessert. Definitely recommend!

Decent thai flavors but not quite authentic. You can taste the fresh ingredients, but the green curry was a bit watered down and spice level was very low. I'm used to having sauces available at table to adjust spice, sour, sweet levels but they didn't have any here. We may try again and request spicier dishes.

This Thai food is unreal!!! The flavors hit hard. Pure fire! I would give it 11/10 if I could. This review is from an Asian sister from Minnesota! I am so impressed!!! Every single person in my group gives them 5/5!

I love they make the food fresh, I love how you walk in and everybody is being grateful for you being there. Flavors are authentic, you can taste all the flavors You can tell they put their heart into their food.
